Dear Ms. Neal:
"Congratulations on being selected as the
winner of the award for Best Project in a Rural or Natural Area in the
Eighth Annual SOLV's Project Oregon program (formerly SOLV CUP). A
committee of the SOLV Board of Directors has selected your Weston
Community Cleanup project based on its significant impact within your
community. SOLV"s Project Oregon program supported 206 projects
last year throughout the state. I am sure you and your project
partners and volunteers are proud of your accomplishments.
Governor John Kitzhaber will present the
awards on Tuesday, May 14, 2002 during the kick-off for the 2002-2003
SOLV's Project Oregon program. The event is scheduled for
11:00a.m. on the steps of the State Capitol building in Salem. You
are welcome to invite guests to attend.
Thank you for your hard work in helping to
keep Oregon clean and livable. SOLV is proud to be your partner as
we work to preserve this treasure called Oregon. Congratulations on a
job well done!
Sincerely,
(s) Jack McGowan
